What JB homes typically get wrong
Double storey terrace houses are long and narrow. The front door, the stairs and the back door often line up, so qi runs straight through. The usual response is a screen, furniture, or changing which door you use each day, not a structural rebuild.
Corner and end lots open on one side, and grid planned taman often put a house on a T junction. In Iskandar Puteri, Mount Austin, Tebrau and Setia Tropika, whole rows share one facing, so who sleeps where depends on the household's Ba Zi.
High rise units near the city and the Causeway often face a lift, a neighbour's door, a long corridor, or another tower's sharp edge. Shop offices and clinics turn on the entrance, the cashier and the consultation room.
