A city ringed by limestone
The Kinta Valley's limestone hills, many with cave temples such as Perak Tong, Sam Poh Tong and Kek Lok Tong, frame Ipoh. In form school terms a rounded hill behind the house reads as support, while a sheer cliff close in front presses on it. Distance, shape, facing and the household's Ba Zi decide the reading.
Old town shophouses
Ipoh old town and the lanes around Concubine Lane are narrow, deep shophouses, many now cafes and guesthouses. Air wells and the line from front door to back are the same questions as in Melaka. The Melaka page has the detail.
Former tin land and newer estates
Ipoh grew on tin, and some low ground and old mining ponds later became parks and housing. Low ground and nearby water change a reading: water in front is generally read well, standing water close behind is not. Meru, Bercham and Ipoh Garden South are typical terrace and semi detached areas. This page does not claim that any named estate sits on mining land.
Ipoh's Chinese community
Consultations are mainly in Mandarin. Visits are by advance booking.
How Ipoh clients work with Golden
Online services use the site's existing starting prices. Ipoh is roughly five to six hours by road from JB, so a visit, if one is arranged, is a planned trip rather than a stop on the way. Ask first.
The other city pages are feng shui in Johor Bahru, feng shui in Singapore, feng shui master in Malaysia, feng shui for Melaka, feng shui for Penang. The overview is where Golden works. Fees and the audit itself are on custom space energy. You can also start with the free Bazi calculator or the five element cycles behind a layout.

Questions
Does Golden have an office in Ipoh?
No. He is based in Johor Bahru. Ipoh clients can consult online, and visits are by arrangement.
Is a limestone hill behind my house good or bad?
It depends on distance and shape. A rounded hill behind is usually read as support. A sheer face very close to the house feels oppressive. Facing and the household's Ba Zi decide the rest.
Do I need to meet for a Ba Zi reading?
No. Zoom or WhatsApp video works.
